Tirana – Day 9 (N. Macedonia)

A 2.5 hour drive from Tirana to Lake Ohrid. First thing I do is hop on a taxi boat and tour the coast.

The blue-green water is crystal clear at the shallow end and the scenic view is worth the visit.

Perched on top of a hill/cliff, this church called Church of Saint Jovan has a bird’s eye view of the lake.

Later we stopped at the Bay of Bones. A settlement of huts built over the water 1200 B.C.

The path to the Monestary of St. Naum.

And this monestary is perched on a hilltop overlooking the lake.

It was a long day and long week. Going to rest tomorrow.
