Tbilisi – Day 8 homer, September 9, 2026 Today was a long day trip. First stop Chronicles of Georgia. I’ve been to Stonehenge and this site is more impressive. Georgians have been cultivating grapes for 8000 years so Britain can stop bragging about Stonehenge. Next Stop: Sighnaghi – A city perched on a mountain surrounded by a wall often called the City of Love because people can get married 24/7 here. The views are amazing. Next stop: Bodbe Monastery Impressive and the grounds are meticulously clean and well kept. Blooming flowers everywhere. Next Stop: Badiauri – We stopped at a small house where a woman was making shoti bread. I ate a loaf out of the oven and it was truly flavorful and delightful, it just needed some butter. We stopped at this place (again) to do churchkhela. I skipped making another one and browsed the shop. Tbilisi 2026
