Tbilisi – Day 10

After a few day trips this week I wanted to take it easy so I headed to the park on top of the mountain here in Tbilisi. I took the funicular up.

The views from up here are breathtaking as you can see for miles all around the valley and mountains afar.

Of course I wanted to go higher and got on the Ferris Wheel.

And the views were even better!

This thing was a fried donut filled with custard. It’s my new favorite dessert and better than the stuffed churros.

On the way down, I stopped half way from the Funicular and stopped at this monastery.

Well kept and there are sheer cliffs right beyond those trees.

Afterwards I went to a concert and was seated in the wrong chair. I was actually five rows down so I was moved after being told to sit there.

The concert was cool. The guy on the left singing carried the whole team the whole night.
