Riga – Day 3 homer, July 24, 2026 Started the day in Riga Central Market and had breakfast at a small cafe within as it was the only place open. The scents of freshly harvested fruits and veggies throughout with strawberries, apricots raspberries, cherries taking the lead. Flowers overflowing in the back areas of the market. We had a time table but mother nature decided to over ride with heavy rain so we had to stand, wait and get soaked. Next up, Latvian Academy of Sciences Riga The view from the top is definitely worth the 8 euros (each). We had tickets for the organ concert at Riga Cathedral (Dome Cathedral) so that’s where we heard the most haunting and majestic music. Lunch at Lasite, a romantic candle lit lunch in a dungeon, what’s not to like? The food was spectacular. One of my favorite meals in Riga. I had the Landlord chicken plate. Next stop Black Heads Museum Oppulent, historic The place is amazing. Finished the day with dinner at Milde, a Michelin star restaurant and the food was amazing. We leave Riga tomorrow morning.
