Vienna – Day 1 homer, July 29, 2026 I’m in Vienna. Took a break from this blog and skipped posting about Bratislava in between but after some rest I’m posting again! First stop in Vienna is Hundertwasser Village. Hundertwasser was an artist with unique style in creating art. Pfarrkanzlei der Pfarre St. Othmar unter den Weißgerbern My favorite stop of the day was Kunst Hous Wien – Museum Hundertwasser. The art here is simply amazing. If you’re going to visit Vienna, it may be worth your while to get the Vienna City Card. It costs up to 39 euros (for 7 days) but they have 2 or 3 day cards but it allows you to use all public transportation for free up to the duration of the card. You also get discounts to enter *some* museums and other discounts. I have mastered the subway and bus to and from my apartment to the Vienna city center. Next stop was the Museum of Applied Arts. There are many “mini-museums” in this facility that cover furniture, fabrics, painting art, jewelry, and many more! Riding the bus… It got hot and I was tired after walking 3 museums so I finished the evening watching The Odyssey here in Vienna to match my journey across Europe. Vienna 2026
