Tirana – Day 15

The first stop on the day trip was Temple of Sari Salltik. This is the view from the top of the mountain.

Gjergj Kastrioti National Museum (Skanderbeg)

There are statues of Skanderbeg all over Europe. The main reason as explained by the tour guide is that this man kept the Ottoman Empire at bay from spreading/conquering further into Europe otherwise most of Europe could have become part of the Ottoman Empire.
